Access Scheme for deaf, disabled and neurodivergent people to join – Globe can assist with finding suitable seating and there are reduced ticket prices for scheme member and one companion,. Specific accessible performances and events (see website) e.g. ‘touch tours’ with audio description, captioned performances, British Sign Language, relaxed performances (come and go as you please, relaxed atmosphere)
Singing group – particularly catering for those living with dementia and those with COPD. Forget-Me-Not Club: activities to exercise the brain and improve/maintain memory, includes people with dementia. Wellbeing activities and coffee mornings
A gardening and reminiscence project for people with dementia, Makes use of memory and nature-based activities to improve the self-confidence and wellbeing of socially-isolated older people. Offers a visiting sensory garden to day centres and care homes across Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark for housebound clients.
